Yes! New Zealand also has its own Cambridge, although without the famous university. Our Cambridge is a small, cozy town in the center of the North Island not far from Hobbiton. It has beautiful squares, views of the steep banks of the Waikato River and delicious restaurants, some located in converted churches. Cambridge can be a great place to stop for lunch on the way from Waitomo to Hobbiton. Also nearby is the Tree Church - a building entirely composed of plants.
